Edward M. and Hermione C. Friend Lecture
Begins at 8:00 pm. The Edward M. and Hermione C. Friend Lecture will feature Ivan Gaskell. Mr. Gaskill is the Margaret S. Winthrop Curator of Paintings, Sculptor and Decorative Arts at the Harvard University Art Museum. He is also a senior lecturer on History and is a cultural historian. Mr. Gaskell’s historical research focuses on artifacts, including artworks. His scholarship is at the intersection of history, art history, anthropology, museology, and philosophy and his teaching invariably involves the use of actual objects. We are honored Mr. Gaskell will be in Birmingham on November 17th to present the Friend Lecture.

ASC Kids Club Presents “Yuletide in Dogtown”
