Blazer Fun Run has another year of success

On October 13, 2012, the second annual Blazer Fun Run took place, inviting out faculty, staff, students, and the community to promote good health in the Birmingham community.

The course was about two miles through UAB campus and Railroad Park.

All participants either walked, jogged or ran the course.

The event was hosted by the UAB Employee Wellness, Viva Health, UAB Campus Recreationg and Children’s of Alabama Wellness, and live music, food, inflatables, giveaways and more were available after the race.

Since the Blazer Fun Run occurs around the same time as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a special recognition was given to all UAB breast cancer survivors.
