The presidential search interviews ended December 18th, 2012.

This upcoming Thursday, Chancellor Robert Witt will announce who the recommended winner will be. The 31-member presidential search committee will then declare who will become UAB’s next president.

Birmingham News allegedly let out a press release about a frontrunner in this race named Ray Watts. However, the search committee’s PR was not open to comment.
