Location: Vulcan Park and Museum
Description: A Place of Our Own: The Fourth Avenue District, Civil Rights, and the Rise of Birmingham’s Black Middle Class exhibition explores Birmingham’s Fourth Avenue District in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 Civil Rights Movement. through September 30. Admission charged.

Description: The Commons on the Green is open all summer with continuous dining Monday through Friday 6:30am-7:30pm. And we say goodbye to Blazer Cafe and HUC Cafe as they go on hiatus while a new student center is built..

Share Your History Days

Location: Vulcan Park and Museum
Description: Vulcan Park invites members of the community to contribute historical items, photos or oral histories concerning Vulcan and/or the Birmingham region to be considered for future educational programs, exhibits and research. Items will be considered for accession or loan.
