UPDATE:Charter Buses will be leaving from Snoozy’s at 11am Thursday to travel to Tuscaloosa for the University of Alabama Board of Trustees meeting.
The UA board of trustees struck a blow to UAB athletics this week when a decision was made to indefinitely postpone the proposed 75 million dollar stadium behind closed doors before the official board meeting on Thursday and Friday. College Colors Day this Friday

This Friday sees a statewide celebration of higher education in the first College Colors Day.
Governor Bentley recently declared September 2 the day to wear your school colors with pride.
Bentley met with representatives for the states 13 public universities last week in Montgomery including USGA President Brad Watts.

Student disagrees with new I-House setup

Recently, it was revealed that the Smolian International House, or the I-House, will no longer be the place we know it to be.
Instead, the premises will be used for the office and administrative work of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS).
